Please Help Buy Books for A Preschool or a Kindergarten Class!
... This drawing was drawn by my daughter.
Children feel happy when they listen to a story and even happier when they get to take the book home.
When Read A Story visits a class, each student and the teacher receives a book. Read A Story consists of an entirely volunteer staff. Your donation will be used to purchase books for the young children to bring home and the teacher, so that the teacher can re-read the book to the children at a later time and to use as a classroom edition. Some of the children do not have books at home.
With your kind donation, each of the students will get a picture book to take home and also one book for the teacher to keep in the classroom. Please support reading by donating to Read A Story using the Paypal link or the P.O. Box number. This is a small way in which you can make a difference to a class of preschoolers or kindergarteners in 2009.
For the Holiday Season, why not sponsor a class with a donation? With this donation, you can buy books for each child and also a book for the teacher to keep in her classroom. The children will be very grateful to bring a book home to keep and share.

Thank you for your holiday donation. If you want your name listed on the website or if you want it to be a gift in the name of someone, please e-mail me and let me know.
For December 2009, Read A Story would like to read The Snowy Day to the students and give each child the book to take home. Can you help?
